MyLife Meditation is a mobile app focused on enhancing emotional well-being of children, teenagers, and young adults through mindfulness and meditation techniques. It partners with “Tools for Peace”, a non-profit organization that aims to foster mindfulness and emotional well being among students and adults. The app features guided meditation sessions and programs tailored for young audience, as well as breathing techniques, emotional self-assessments, mood tracking and charts which reflect user’s progress and emotional patterns.
As of out last update (April 2024) it seems that the app is no longer available.
MyLife Meditation can be used as a complementary tool, particularly for younger patients or those new to mindfulness. Its variety of exercises and ability to personalize experiences based on emotional states can be beneficial in reinforcing therapeutic goals and skills taught during clinical sessions. The app's features, like mood tracking and meditation streaks, could provide clinicians with additional insights into a patient's emotional well-being and engagement with mindfulness practices outside of therapy sessions.
