Brainwell is a mobile app designed to enhance cognitive functions such as memory, attention, language, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The app is based on common concepts in neuropsychology and cognitive neuroscience, aiming to improve mental agility through daily training sessions that are both challenging and engaging. Brainwell’s main feature is its diverse array of over 50 games that target different areas of brain function. These games adapt to the user's performance level, increasing in difficulty as the user's cognitive abilities improve, ensuring the exercises remain both stimulating and effective over time. For each game, the app presents a short and simple scientific explanation regarding its cognitive benefits. Brainwell provides each user with a personally recommended daily training, consisting of 3 chosen games. Additionally, the app provides users with feedback and detailed analytics on their performance. This feedback includes scores that compare their cognitive abilities to normative age groups, allowing users to track their progress and identify areas for improvement. Additional features include a link for “Brain Encyclopedia” with many short explanations about key terms in neuroscience, an option to set reminders and an adjusted version for color blind users. Brainwell is available for free with limited access to its games and features. A subscription option unlocks the full range of games and detailed analytics
